夜、月恒例のECC GIRLS Night
明日：午前、いとことメキシコ旅行の打ち合わせ
夕方、新宿で英会話
夜、手持ち花火大会＠目黒
の、はずだった…のに。
★ 用賀にある田燕居で久しぶりのお昼の点心コース。(角煮がなかったことに夜気づいた。)高校の頃からの友達と3人で、のんびりとイタリア旅行の写真を見せてもらいつつ点心を満喫。その後、自由が丘へ。軽く買い物をしたりお茶したりで夕方別れて、夜のECC GIRLS Nightの待ち合わせ場所新宿へ。
時間ぴったりに着いた自分をほめつつ、来るはずの友にTEL。がっ！ここに来て、約束は明日の夜だったことが判明！手帳に写しまちがえていました。私。
すでに明日会うはずのいとこの都合が変更になり、会えないことになったのに追い討ちをかけるショックで呆然。新宿南口改札の人混みの中から向かった先は地下鉄の駅、ではなくてGAP。スカート1枚お買い上げ。
★ 英語を読むのは確かに大事だけど、会話はまた違うんだよなあ。つくづく。頭の中だけだとわりと文章作りやすいのに、会話は相手あってのもの。向こうは自分の答えを待っていて、(当たり前な事に)自分の思った通りの答えや質問をしてくれるわけでなし。特に、日本語でも意見や説明しづらい(よく知らない)ことを聞かれた日には、四苦八苦。それでも単語帳で覚えるよりも、会話の中で知った単語の方がはるかに覚えやすかったり。しゃべってなんぼ、聞いてなんぼ。会話の上達法は、会話の中にしかないような気がするのです。はい。
