★ 朝、ベッドでボーッとしていたらチャイムが鳴った。「来た！」っと飛び起きパジャマ＆寝癖のまま玄関へ。荷物を受け取ってみると、予想に反して家からだった。中身は映画のちらしやクウネルやバガボンドの新刊などと一緒に再び緑茶が！これで未開封の緑茶4本。一人用の急須が欲しくなった。クウネルはもったいないので、いつもちびちびじっくり読む。朝ご飯を食べ、もう一つ来るはずの荷物を待つ。「抹茶歯磨き粉」だって、気になる〜。というわけで、本日は２つも荷物が届いたお楽しみDAY。ありがとう、ありがとう。
★ 久しぶりにブロンズウィックに行ってみたけど、結局何も買わなかった。帰りに地元の図書館へ行き新聞のテレビ欄をチェック。帰ろうとしたら外は大雨だったので時間でもつぶすか、と思った時肩をたたかれ振り返るとメグちゃんが。彼女のバイト時間までおしゃべり。家に帰って、夕飯を作ろうと思ったけどジュリがお客さんを呼ぶらしく、ぶつかりたくなかったので簡単に（適当に）サラダと野菜スープ（失敗）を作って食べる。食べていると、ジュリがかなり動揺して泣きながら電話をしているのが聞こえてくる。彼女は感情の起伏が激しい。さっさと部屋に籠りクウネルる。
